Nourishing Cuisine for Grief Healing

Nutritious Cuisine at Corrales Grief Spa is a gentle and nourishing approach to healing through food. Grief affects every layer of our being…including how we eat and care for our bodies. Through thoughtfully prepared breakfasts, smoothies, salads and soups, we offer guests an opportunity to reconnect with food as a source of comfort, vitality and presence. You also have the option for a cold pressed juice cleanse while here.

During times of loss, emotional eating patterns may emerge…whether through overeating, undereating or seeking comfort in processed, low-nutrient foods. While completely understandable, these habits can sometimes deepen fatigue, cloud mental clarity, or create disconnection from the body. Our offerings are designed to counterbalance these tendencies with delicious, balanced meals that are both healing and satisfying, rich in nutrients and lovingly prepared.

Each dish…whether a vibrant smoothie, a yogurt fruit bowl, a hearty soup or seasonal salad…is crafted with ingredients that support energy, digestion and emotional equilibrium. We emphasize fresh, organic and local produce whenever possible and recipes are tailored to be easy on the body and uplifting to the spirit. Our goal is not to restrict or prescribe, but to gently reintroduce the body to the healing potential of whole, living foods.

Senseful Eating is an integral part of this experience. Guests are encouraged to slow down and experience Senseful Living as they savor and engage with food in a way that fosters gratitude and presence. As we nourish the body, we create a more resilient foundation for emotional healing and spiritual connection. At Corrales Grief Spa, food is not just about what we eat…it’s about how we care for ourselves in every bite.

Take some time. Take care of yourself. You deserve it.

Because healing begins with honoring you—gently, fully, and without apology.
